During a hectic final term at Beckmans College of Design graduating students Klara Granstrand, Thomas Lissert, Johanna Sandén and Mimmi Sendel decided that they would build something together that none of them could do alone.

The ambition was to create a workspace that felt spontaneous and visceral, accomplished by blood, sweat and craftsmanship The result was Strindbergsgatan 31. A nostalgic relationship to middle school in materials, colour and form.

The tables have a compartment for hiding drawings or secret notes, wall bars are transformed into a shelving system and the distinctive waxed canvas of the gymmat is used to dress floor stools.
